Sustainable Aviation Fuel for Verified Lifecycle Emission Reduction
Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is a drop-in renewable jet fuel produced from used cooking oil, animal fats, vegetable oils and other renewable feedstocks, most commonly through the HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids) pathway. Once blended with conventional Jet A-1, it meets the same fuel-quality requirements as fossil jet fuel and requires no modification to aircraft, engines or airport fuelling infrastructure. Prime Elements supplies certified SAF sourced to specification, backed by ISCC and RED II-compliant documentation.
Consistent Quality and Performance
We verify all critical specifications before each shipment — including freeze point, flash point, thermal stability and aromatics content. Neat SAF is certified to ASTM D7566, and once blended the finished fuel is released to ASTM D1655 and DEF STAN 91-091 as conventional Jet A-1.
Trusted Logistics Partner
Prime Elements ensures flexible and scalable delivery options, including bulk shipments, rail tank cars, road tankers and ISO tank containers, with segregated handling to preserve aviation-fuel purity and end-to-end documentation support.
Compliance and Sustainability
All SAF volumes are supplied with ISCC and RED II-compliant documentation, supporting lifecycle greenhouse-gas reporting under ReFuelEU Aviation and CORSIA. Waste-based feedstocks such as used cooking oil and animal fats qualify under Annex IX and deliver the highest certified emission savings.
Why Choose SAF from Prime Elements?
- Certified Feedstock Sourcing: Access to HEFA-based SAF from multiple certified origins.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: ISCC and RED II-compliant documentation supporting ReFuelEU and CORSIA reporting.
- Technical Support: Guidance on blend ratios, release testing and regulatory requirements.
- Future-Ready Supply Chains: Secure access to constrained renewable aviation fuel volumes.
Choose Prime Elements as your partner in dependable, certified SAF supply for aviation decarbonization.
SAF serves as a drop-in renewable fuel for commercial, cargo and business aviation, supplied neat as a blend component or as finished blended jet fuel.
Typical applications include:
- Blending with Jet A-1 for commercial aviation (up to 50% per ASTM D7566)
- Airline and cargo-operator emission-reduction programs
- Corporate travel and business aviation decarbonization
- ReFuelEU Aviation blending-mandate compliance
- CORSIA-eligible fuel supply
- Book-and-claim and mass-balance renewable fuel schemes
Certification to ASTM D7566 makes SAF a fully drop-in fuel, requiring no modification to aircraft, engines or airport fuelling infrastructure.
