The registration expands Prime Elements’ approved feedstock portfolio for biodiesel producers and reinforces the company’s compliance-first approach to supply chains.
Prime Elements GmbH has received official registration from the competent German authority to trade rendered fats Category 2 and used cooking oil Category 3 for technical purposes under Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009.
The registration, issued under number DE11-002-0006-36, enables Prime Elements to expand its feedstock portfolio and trade these materials in full compliance with applicable regulatory, documentation, and traceability requirements.
Prime Elements is ISCC-EU certified and supplies vegetable-origin feedstocks for biodiesel production to customers across Central and North-Western Europe. The new registration adds further approved feedstock categories to the company’s portfolio, strengthening its position as a reliable and compliant supplier to biodiesel producers.
Rendered fats and used cooking oil from approved and traceable sources are recognised secondary feedstocks in biodiesel production. Their inclusion into Prime Elements’ portfolio supports a broader feedstock base and contributes to the efficient use of recovered and by-product materials.
The registration operates within the EU animal by-product regulatory framework under Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009. Prime Elements applies the same compliance-focused approach — including sourcing from approved or registered operators and TRACES-related documentation where required — that already underpins its ISCC-EU certified activity in vegetable-origin feedstocks.
